December 16 & 17 - WOMEN IN IMPROV weekend
It is finally here.... A Women in Improv weekend.
A workshop for female (identified) improvisers to explore, share and practice the craft of improvised theatre.
It will be a weekend filled with bad-ass character work, in-depth leading and following, practicing bold moves, tapping in on our vulnerable side and using our body to express and take action.
Wonderful things can happen in an all-female environment. The level of support, playfulness, safety and openness always delights me, and inspires the improv in new ways.

- We are collaborating with the wonderful MEZRAB for the workshop studio and the show.

About Laura
I am an Amsterdam-based improv trainer and actress. A year ago I founded The Ferocious Four, an all-female action themed improv show. It has been a wonderful experience to direct this all-female cast, and to bring the format and the work to other countries. It has truly changed me as an improviser.
Last summer I was in San Francisco, I was invited to assist in the Women's Improv Intensive by Rebecca Stockley and Kimberly Maclean at BATS. There I saw, what I have seen in every all-female group in my career: magic happened. I knew I wanted to bring this concept to Amsterdam as well.
Furthermore, I love biking, traveling, cats, pancakes, making lists, taking leaps, staying up late and sleeping in. Also, my last name is a castle. True story.
